Over 1300 people from 54 countries took part in this unique project. Just the Battle of Borodino scene alone had 5000 extras. Over the course of five years of painstaking efforts, the film crew was faced with many challenges while working together side by side 24 hours a day. By modest estimates, the film's budget amounted to over 10 million USD. However, there's one "but" - this whole amount was amassed out of the time spent by devotees, the costumes and decorations they created, equipment provided to us and the support of many volunteers and professionals.

 

Limited screenings of the film took place in Toronto, Odessa, Moscow, Beijing, Rome, Paris, Berlin, Chicago, Jerusalem, New York, Vilnius, Krasnoyarsk, Lviv, Tel Aviv, San Francisco, Rotterdam, Kishinev and Angola.

 

The film was translated into English, spanish, german, french, italian, portuguese, hebrew, arabic, turkish, chinese and bulgarian.
